So far, the marketing for Warner Bros.’ Justice League has focused on five heroes: Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Cyborg and Aquaman. Though dead, Superman has also been included in some promotional material, if not all. Now, a tie-in promo with Big Bang Theory includes a heretofore unannounced seventh hero.
Long rumored to appear in Justice League one way or another, Green Lantern is the seventh hero included in the Geekstakes website that promotes a contest for the upcoming film. As io9 discovered, it features an animated spinning wheel with the logo of each member of the Justice League, and the iconic Green Lantern logo is included.

Though this should be taken with a grain of salt, it’s worth noting that this contest is being run in conjunction with Warner Bros., the studio behind the next DC Comics adaptation. We know Green Lantern will indeed show up in the DC Extended Universe in 2020’s Green Lantern Corps, so the Emerald Knight could very well get a tease — if not a full role — in this November’s Justice League. Justice League could follow in the tradition of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which gave fans a brief look at the Flash, Cyborg, Wonder Woman and Aquaman, but Green Lantern’s appearance remains unconfirmed at this time.
Opening November 17, Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Raymond Fisher as Cyborg, Willem Dafoe as Vulko, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta, Amber Heard as Mera and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon.
