10 Jujutsu Kaisen Characters Who Would Make Great Demon Slayers

Jujutsu Kaisen and Demon Slayer are two series considered part of shonen anime’s new “big three.” Since they’re both part of the same genres, some of the characters share similar archetypes, leading fans to draw comparisons between the two series.

It’s always interesting to speculate about how certain characters from one fictional world would function in another. Demon Slayer and Jujutsu Kaisen, of course, are no exception. They’re similar in many ways, but their worlds are vastly different. It’d be fascinating to see how some of the best jujutsu sorcerers would fare as master swordsmen in the Demon Slayer Corps.

10 Satoru Gojo Would Be An Even Flashier Hashira Than Tengen Uzui

Since Satoru is the strongest jujutsu sorcerer on the planet, it makes sense that he’d thrive in the Demon Slayer Corps, too. He’d quickly rise through the ranks and become a Hashira. His flashiness would rival Tengen Uzui, and all of his best personality quirks would fit right in alongside the other eccentric Hashira.

He’d kill demons with the same happy-go-lucky, cocky attitude he uses to exorcise cursed spirits. Even though the audience hasn’t seen him use any weapon at this point in the series, he’d undoubtedly be a quick learner and wield a nichirin sword like it’s nothing.

9 Yuji Has What It Takes To Become A Demon Slayer

Similar to how he was eager to learn more about jujutsu sorcery, Yuji would be just as enthusiastic about learning the ins and outs of demon-slaying. His raw physical power alone would be enough to let him pass the Final Selection, but his mental fortitude would be key for the rest of his career in the Corps.

Yuji has the patience necessary to master whatever Breathing Style he chooses- whether it’s Water, Flame, or something entirely different. Demon Slayer’s breathing techniques are different from cursed energy, but their basis is similar: maintaining focus and channeling emotions into the attack.

8 Nobara Would Have A Unique Breathing Style

Breathing Styles are all derived from Sun Breathing, each branching out into their own paths. Many of the best slayers invented their own based on previous styles. In Jujutsu Kaisen, Nobara’s stray doll technique is one of the series’s most unique cursed energy manipulations. If she were to join the Demon Slayer Corps, she’d likely create her own breathing style that’s just as recognizable.

Some might argue that her weapon of choice wouldn’t work well against a demon since most slayers wield blades rather than hammers. However, if she were to get a hammer made of nichirin, Nobara would definitely be successful.

7 Toji Could Become A Hashira

Even though he has no cursed energy, Toji Fushiguro isn’t called the Sorcerer Killer for no reason. Toji was able to land a sneak attack on the most powerful sorcerer and struck down a bunch of powerful curses. He’s a master assassin and an expert at handling various types of weapons.

Other characters believe his abilities are superhuman, especially considering his absolute lack of cursed energy. He’s certainly strong enough to rise through the ranks of the Demon Slayer Corps and become a badass Hashira like Sanemi or Obanai.

6 Miwa Is A Solid Swordsman

Miwa is one of the only characters in the series that fans have seen wield a sword up until this point. Even though she’s not one of the strongest sorcerers around, her abilities aren’t anything to scoff at. She is a solid swordsman, and her agility gives her a serious upper hand in one-on-one combat.

She’d be a force to be reckoned with in the Demon Slayer Corps. She’d probably be one of Urokodaki’s apprentices and master Water Breathing. She likely wouldn’t become a Hashira, but she’d still be a valuable asset to the Corps.

5 Nanami’s Ratio Technique Would Work Well With Wind Breathing

Nanami’s ratio technique takes advantage of his opponent’s weak points by dividing their body into a 7:3 ratio. Then, he takes his dull blade and charges straight for their weak spot.

This technique would work pretty well with a Breathing Style, such as Wind Breathing. Plus, Nanami already wields a dull blade. If he were to get Isekai’d to the Demon Slayer world, he’d have to get a replica made of nichirin and get on his way to slaying some demons. He might even become a Hashira.

4 Todo’s High Combat IQ Would Prove Useful In The Demon Slayer Corps

Even though he didn’t come from a family of sorcerers, Todo rose through the ranks and became a powerful grade-one. If he were to join the Demon Slayer Corps, he’d be successful enough to join the Hashira in no time.

His breathing style would be similar to Inosuke’s Beast Breathing, and it’d probably incorporate some version of his Boogie Woogie. In this case, that cursed technique would be a more aggressive version of Tanjiro’s Fake Rainbow. Plus, Todo’s high combat IQ would give him a considerable advantage over his competition, and it’d be enough to make even Akaza nervous.

3 Yuta Okkotsu Would Master The Nichirin Blade

Thanks to the constant training he received after entering Jujutsu High, Yuta is an expert with various types of weapons. It seems his weapon of choice is a sword, which already gives him an edge when it comes to demon-slaying. Give this guy a nichirin blade, and every demon in a 50-mile radius better watch their carotid artery.

It’s worth pointing out that Yuta’s a lot like Tanjiro. They’re both highly compassionate people, and it carries over into their line of work. He’d behave similarly to Tanjiro and offer the demons he’s killed a bit of kindness in their final moments.

2 Megumi’s Breathing Style Would Mimic Moon Breathing

At this point in the anime, only a fraction of Megumi’s power has been seen. The audience has seen glimpses of his full potential with his unfinished Domain Expansion: Chimera Shadow Garden, but manga readers have seen more of his power.

Even though his Ten Shadows wouldn’t apply to demon-slaying, his cursed technique isn’t the only thing that makes him strong. Megumi is a pretty formidable combatant. He’s not only a master of hand-to-hand combat, but he’s also wickedly talented with various weapons. His breathing technique would be similar to Kokushibo’s Moon Breathing, and all his moves would be named after all of the Shikigami in his Ten Shadows.

1 Maki Has The Guts & Raw Power To Take Over The Demon Slayer Corps

Even some of the best Hashira wouldn’t be able to rival Maki’s agility and raw power. Even though she can’t see cursed spirits without her glasses or manipulate cursed energy, she’s managed to become one of the strongest students at Jujutsu High with her vast knowledge of weaponry and unparalleled physical abilities.

Maki would master Total Concentration Breathing, but then she’d expand and create her own Breathing Style- possibly something similar to Moon Breathing. She could cut down mobs of demons like it’s nothing. If recent manga chapters have taught fans anything about Maki, it’s that she’s a force to be reckoned with and not one to underestimate.
