Sentai Filmworks announces deluxe Blu-ray sets for Rent-A-Girlfriend and the third season of Is It Wrong to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon.
Sentai Filmworks has opened orders for its new Rent-A-Girlfriend and Is It Wrong To Try To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon? (also known as DanMachi) Blu-ray box sets.
As announced on its official website, Sentai Filmworks will give both the third season of DanMachi and the first season of Rent-A-Girlfriend premium Blu-ray releases that include plenty of bonuses. Both of the box sets are scheduled to be released this August and are now available for preorder.
Released in 2020, Rent-A-Girlfriend is a romantic comedy about a teenage boy named Kinoshita Kazuya who finds himself in the awkward position when, after getting dumped, he decides to pay for dates with a girl named Mizuhara Chizuru. Despite not getting along, the two are forced to stay together after a misunderstanding with their families. Sentai’s deluxe Blu-ray package will include all 12-episodes with both English dubs and the original Japanese audio track (with subtitles), as well as a 32-page booklet and an acrylic phone stand. The box set is currently available for the preorder price of $129.99 USD and will be released on Aug. 30.
The premium box set for DanMachi is also packed with plenty of bonus materials and will feature all 12-episodes from the third season, as well as a bonus 13th episode, entitled “Is It Wrong to Try to Find a Hot Spring in Orario? -Bath God Forever-.” The set also features a collector’s box, a 56-page art booklet, 5 art cards, and a limited edition button pack. This set will hit shelves on Aug. 23 and is now available for preorder for $116.99 USD.
In addition to the DanMachi and Rent A Girlfriend box sets, Sentai Filmworks also has several other standard home video releases scheduled for August, including Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun, a show about a boy who has his soul sold by his parents to a demon and is forced to attend school with demon children. The distributor will also release a SHORT PEACE, a collection of four short anime films. These shorts were all produced under the guidance of Katsuhiro Otomo, the creator of the famous cyberpunk franchise Akira.
In addition to its home video releases, all three seasons of Is It Wrong to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon are also available on Sentai Filmworks’ streaming service, HIDIVE. The Rent-A-Girlfriend anime is also available for streaming on Crunchyroll.
