All along, Thor: Ragnarok has been positioned as retro and old school — switching up from the more serious tone we’ve seen in the previous films revolving around Chris Hemsworth’s God of Thunder. These posters and pieces of art undeniably fit into those categories, using bold colors and unique designs to highlight the characters we’ll be watching. One extra-groovy poster in particular teases the upcoming battle between The Mighty Thor and The Incredible Hulk, reminding fans that they’ll be squaring up in the Sakaar battle arena.
The artwork boasts a huge range of designs and illustrations we’ve yet to see, and they make a world of difference from the boring character montage poster we saw for Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thor: Ragnarok is reportedly on track to have a $100 million domestic opening, which would be the best opening for the franchise to date.

In Marvel Studios’ Thor: Ragnarok, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok—the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization—at the hands of an all-powerful threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger—the Incredible Hulk.
Arriving Nov. 3, director Taika Waititi’s Thor: Ragnarok stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Cate Blanchett as Hela, Idris Elba as Heimdall, Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Karl Urban as Skurge, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/the Hulk and Anthony Hopkins as Odin.
