Studio Ghibli’s long-awaited Ghibli Park is now set to open on November 1!
Aichi Tourism Bureau has revealed a promo video inspired by Ghibli works, taking viewers through various locations in Aichi Prefecture, where Ghibli Park will be found.
Fans in Japan can look forward to visiting the following three areas from November 1: Ghibli no Daisoko (the Grand Ghibli Warehouse), Seishun no Oka (the Hill of Youth), and Dondoko Mori (Dondoko Forest).
The Mononoke no Sato (Mononoke Village) and Majo no Tani (Witch Valley) areas, themed around Princess Mononoke and Kiki’s Delivery Service respectively, will open in the second half of 2023.
In addition to a celebratory visual featuring Totoro, Studio Ghibli’s official Twitter account has released sneak peeks of Chikyuya (the antique shop from Whisper of the Heart ), Ghibli no Daisoko, and the house of Ghibli producer Toshio Suzuki.
