Mecha anime film Eureka: Eureka Seven Hi-Evolution is now set to open in Japan on November 26!
First slated for release in 2019, the film was postponed to summer 2021 before suffering another delay.
An intense key visual and trailer have been revealed along with the new release date.
Two new cast members have been confirmed: Rina Endo as Iris and Koichi Yamadera as Dewey (formerly voiced by Koji Tsujitani). They will be joining Kaori Nazuka and Ami Koshimizu, who are reprising the roles of Eureka and Anemone respectively.
Eureka Seven: Hi-Evolution is the franchise’s second three-part movie series, serving as a reboot of the original 2005 TV anime series by Bones. The story follows Renton, a youth who joins renegade group Gekkostate after meeting a mysterious mecha pilot named Eureka.
The current film series began with Eureka Seven: Hi-Evolution 1 in 2017, followed by Anemone: Eureka Seven Hi-Evolution in 2018.
Eureka: Eureka Seven Hi-Evolution will open in Japan on November 26, 2021.
