Masters of the Universe Comic Provides First Look at Netflix Series


A Dark Horse prequel comic will give fans a first look at Kevin Smith’s upcoming 2D animated Netflix series Masters of the Universe: Revelation.

Dark Horse Comics is publishing a Masters of the Universe: Revelation miniseries that will serve as a prequel to Kevin Smith’s 2D animated series at Netflix.

Masters of the Universe: Revelation #1 is written by Smith, Rob David and Tim Sheridan, with art by Mindy Lee (Crimson Lotus). Kevin Smith and Rob David are executive producers on the Netflix series, with Tim Sheridan (Teen Titans Academy, Shazam) credited as an episode writer.

The Dark Horse comic follows He-Man as he tries to save his father, King Randor, from an Orlax attack. Part of his adventure uncovers a connection between the Orlax and the Sword of Might, and pits He-Man against Skeletor and Evil-Lyn.
