Fans who have long dreamed of joining the Justice League at last have their chance, at least in virtual reality.

In the buildup to the premiere of director Zack Snyder’s Justice League, Warner Bros. is rolling out a virtual-reality experience that allows players to experience what it’s like to be Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Flash and Cyborg. Sorry, no Superman — at least not yet (although the announcement indicates additional DC Comics characters may be added later).
The four-stage unveiling, which culminates with the at-home Justice League VR: The Complete Experience, begins with a free promotional download available now from Apple App Store, the Google Play Store and the Justice League film site. The demo, which requires Google Cardboard or an equivalent VR viewer, features up to 90 seconds of gameplay for each character.
Next month, at New York Comic Con, attendees will be able to preview the HTC Vine version with Justice League VR: Join the League – New York Comic Con Edition. The day of the film’s premiere, on Nov. 17, the IMAX VR: Justice League Experience will debut at IMAX VR Centres, offering an immersive and interactive adventure.

Then, in December, Justice League Virtual Reality: The Complete Experience will arrive on multiple VR platforms, including HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, Samsung GearVR, Google DayDream and Sony PSVR. With it, you can outrace your enemies as Batman, fight Parademons as Wonder Woman, face underwater creatures as Aquaman, stop a ticking bomb as The Flash, and eliminate enemy drones as Cyborg.
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, in Justice League Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes — Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash — it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Arriving in theaters Nov. 17, director Zack Snyder’s Justice League stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Willem Dafoe as Vulko, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Connie Nielsen as Queen Hippolyta and J. K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon.
