Ms. Marvel Finally Proves Herself To Her Greatest Foe

In the latest issue of Ms. Marvel, she teamed up with her current foe to battle a greater enemy and might have redeemed herself in his eyes.

WARNING: The following contains spoilers for Ms. Marvel #17 by Saladin Ahmed, Minkyu, Ian Herring & VC’s Joe Caramagna, on sale now.

While the battle between underaged heroes and C.R.A.D.L.E. rages on, a couple of the major heroes are catching a break. It started with Miles Morales working with Captain America, and now Ms. Marvel has made peace with the man in charge of capturing young heroes for C.R.A.D.L.E.

The new Ms. Marvel started with Kamala on the run from C.R.A.D.L.E. as she has been since the Kamala’s Law Act was enacted. However, Kamala has always been able to defend herself. Ms Marvel on the run

There was a question when Captain America sided with Miles Morales about what would happen if he faced off with his World War II friend, but now that is no longer likely to happen. Ms. Marvel finally showed Duggan what she is really about and won him over. Not only did she win him over, but it seems like Dum Dum Duggan might be ready to give up the chase for young underaged heroes completely.

This started after Ms. Marvel and Dum Dum Duggan had a small fight where Duggan was armed and ready for her powers. The fight didn’t last, as they had to stop when a batch of zombified people came out of Rubicon HQ. This wasn’t the first time that Ms. Marvel had to battle Rubicon, as she faced off with the company ran by Uncle Brett when she and her friends were taken there in Magnificent Ms. Marvel #8 by Saladin Ahmed, Joey Vazquez, Alex Arizmendi, Joey Vazquez, Alex Arizmendi, Ian Herring & Joe Caramagna. It was here they battled Brett, also known as Monopoly, who used mind control over his employees.

Dum Dum Duggan

Dum Dum Duggan listened to Ms. Marvel when she told him what Monopoly was capable of and agreed to a temporary truce to help her try to save the employees under Monopoly’s control. The two tried to fight off the mind-controlled employees of Rubicon HQ before discovering who was responsible. It was Ms. Marvel’s old enemy, Discord, but he was clearly under the control of Monopoly. Ms. Marvel went head-to-head with him while Duggan fought off the zombified employees. However, instead of fighting him, she went in to save him and help revert all the employees to normal.
