Previews for Every Marvel Comic Arriving Wednesday, Dec. 9


Before New Comics Day arrives, check out previews for Amazing Spider-Man, Avengers, Captain Marvel, Conan the Barbarian, Marauders and Star Wars.

It’s another big week for Marvel Comics, with the House of Ideas slated to put out no fewer than 15 new titles this Wednesday, Dec. 9.

This week, the “Last Remains” arc continues in Amazing Spider-Man #54. And speaking of the wall-crawler, after an extended hiatus, J.J. and Henry Abrams’ five-part Spider-Man limited series finally reaches its conclusion on Wednesday. Then, in Spidey’s orbit, is Venom #31 — a tie-in for King in Black. The symbiote-centric event has an additional tie-in this week in the form of King in Black: Namor #1, the first in another five-issue series.

Speaking of five-parters, the solo Juggernaut title releases its penultimate issue #4 this week, as does the licensed Rise of Ultraman comic. Meanwhile, fellow licensed limited series Warhammer 40,000: Marneus Calgar crosses the halfway mark with issue #3. Some of Marvel’s ongoing titles getting new issues on Wednesday include Avengers, Captain Marvel, Conan the Barbarian, Guardians of the Galaxy, MaraudersStrange Academy and the mainline Star Wars comic. Finally, the mutant-centric title S.W.O.R.D. celebrates an issue #1 relaunch.
