Before New Comics Day arrives, check out previews for Dark Nights: Death Metal, Detective Comics, Superman, The Green Lantern and Wonder Woman.
While last week saw a one-shot tie-in, the main Dark Nights: Death Metal event series pushes on this week with the release of issue #3. And that’s only one of the 10 new releases DC Comics has planned for Tuesday, Aug. 11.
This week is decidedly a very superheroic one for DC, with no new releases from imprints like Hill House Comics or the Sandman Universe. That said, there are still plenty of solo superhero books to choose from, including new issues of Detective Comics, Hawkman, Superman, The Batman’s Grave, The Flash, The Green Lantern Season Two and Wonder Woman.
Of course, Death Metal isn’t the only ensemble series with a new issue this week, with team-centric books like Batman and the Outsiders and Justice League Odyssey also getting new issues on Tuesday.
