It’s been confirmed that upcoming game Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress -Ran- Hajimaru Michiato will be released sometime in Dec. 2018!
Developed by TriFort and DMM GAMES, the game is releasing for iOS, Android, and PC. It will serve as a legitimate sequel to the anime series, which originally premiered on Fuji TV’s Noitamina from Apr. to June 2016.
It was also announced that the game surpassed its goal of 300,000 preregistrations. As promised, players have unlocked the possibility of acquiring the handsome antagonist Biba.
Naturally, new preregistration goals have been revealed to keep the campaign going strong. If the game gets 400,000 preregistrations, players will be gifted with 200 of the in-game currency Kagachi. After 500,000, players will enjoy an additional 400 Kagachi, plus the unlocking of two skill enhancements: Kakusei no Honou (Biba) and Kakusei no Honou (Takumi)!
The game is based on Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress -Ran- Hajimaru Michiato, an anime by Wit Studio. Set in a world where humans must protect themselves from corpses transformed by a virus into undead creatures called Kabane, the original series follows a young man named Ikoma who becomes a Kabaneri – a half-human, half-Kabane hybrid. An anime film titled Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress: The Battle of Unato is set to premiere in Spring 2019, so players can also look forward to tie-in events, items, and characters.
Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress -Ran- Hajimaru Michiato is slated to release in Dec. 2018.
