Kamanaka Nobuharu is to direct the anime, with Okamoto Nobuhiko playing Accelerator and Hidaka Rina as Last Order. An official website has also been set up.

Nagai Tatsuyuki is returning as director, in addition to Satou Rina as Misaka Mikoto, Arai Satomi as Shirai Kuroko, Toyosaki Aki as Uiharu Kazari, Itou Kanae as Saten Ruiko, and Asakura Azumi as Shokuhou Misaki. Although other details are still scarce, an official website has also been launched for Season 3.
