Popular superhero anime My Hero Academia has confirmed that it will be getting a fourth season!
The announcement came with an illustration by character designer Umakoshi Yoshihiko, showing protagonist Midoriya Izuku (AKA Deku) with other central characters.
Based on Horikoshi Kouhei’s manga of the same name, My Hero Academia received its first TV anime series in 2016 with a second season following in 2017 and a third in 2018. A movie was also released in Aug. 2018.
Set in a world in which superpowers known as “Quirks” are the norm, the series follows Deku, a Quirkless student of superhero academy U.A. High School. Season 3’s conclusion saw the anime debut of “The Big 3”, three elite students of U.E. High School, as well as a new villain named “Overhaul”.
