While Kraglin Obfonteri isn’t expected to join fellow Guardians of the Galaxy members in Avengers: Infinity War, Sean Gunn still had the opportunity to star in the film. Gunn performs the motion capture for Rocket Raccoon, who’s voiced by Bradley Cooper. This movie is the first time Gunn has performed his intergalactic role under new direction, so it could have been understandably difficult for the actor.

In an interview with Comicbook.com, Gunn, who has played Yondu Udonta’s First Mate in both Guardians films under the direction of his brother, James Gunn, had nothing but good words for the Russo Brothers.

“All directors have a little bit of a different style, and their own method of working. When you’re working with a director, or directors, for the first time, you have to sort of establish that working relationship. I don’t need to do that obviously when I work with my brother [James Gunn] because we’ve worked together for so long. The Russos are different, but I can tell you’re they’re great. I can tell you I love working with them, and I think I also identified with the idea of working with my brother as something that they do all the time, just like my brother and I do. I really enjoyed working with them, but the style’s different. No director is like any other exactly.”

Gunn also discussed his time filming the third Avengers movie, which sees cosmic superheroes cross paths with Earth-based heroes for the first time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Oh, my gosh has it been amazing, and such a big movie, and such an amazing and huge cast,” Gunn said. “I’m glad though that it’s now out there that we get to work with Thor because now I can officially tell interviewers how handsome Chris Hemsworth is up close.”

Debuting in theaters on May 4, 2018, Avengers: Infinity War is a production of Marvel Studios directed by Joe and Anthony Russo starring Robert Downey Jr., Josh Brolin, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Bettany, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Benedict Wong, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland and Anthony Mackie.
