A group of Russian cosplayers have gone above and beyond to bring the characters of Marvel’s infamous House of M storyline to life.
The photoset prominently displays the key members of the House of Magnus (Magneto, Scarlet Witch, Polaris and Quicksilver) in their royal garb, with the House’s flag being proudly displayed beside them. Additional characters can also be seen in their Redguard uniforms, including the likes of Wolverine, Mystique and Nightcrawler.

Released throughout 2005, the original House of M story, written by Brian Michael Bendis and illustrated by Olivier Coipel, revolves around a grieving Scarlet Witch losing control of her abilities and shaking the fabric of reality itself to its very core, resulting in a large-scale conflict in an alternate reality. This is also the storyline that gave birth to Scarlet Witch’s now-iconic line of “No more mutants.”
House of M‘s world spawned numerous mini-series outside of the main event, including one released as a part of 2015’s Secret Wars event, which provided another look at just how different things are in that reality, S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Redguard mutant team and the inner-workings of the House of Magnus.
The cosplay photoset has clearly taken the regal aspects of House of M to heart, with particular attention to detail being paid to the royal outfits of Magneto, Scarlet Witch and Polaris.
