North American anime convention Anime NYC has confirmed Japanese-American singer nano as the final artist in New York’s very first Anisong World Matsuri event!
A collaborative project between some of Japan’s leading entertainment companies, Anisong World Matsuri aims to bring the top anisong artists to fans around the world. Having already held successful events in Los Angeles, Washington D.C., and Shanghai, this time it will be coming to New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom on Nov. 16 and 17.
The lineup for the NYC concerts is now complete, with nano ( Arpeggio of Blue Steel ) joining fellow anisong stars Haruna Luna ( Sword Art Online ), Nakagawa Shouko ( Gurenn Lagann ), Morning Musume。’18, Suzuki Konomi ( Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World ), Kageyama Hironobu ( Dragon Ball Z ), Kitadani Hiroshi ( One Piece ), and TRUE ( Violet Evergarden ).
Haruna Luna, Suzuki Konomi, TRUE and nano will be performing on Nov. 16, with Morning Musume。’18, Kageyama Hironobu, Kitadani Hiroshi, and Nakagawa Shouko taking to the stage on Nov. 17.
Although the concert is hosted by Anime NYC, it is open to all with no convention badge required to purchase tickets. However, related events taking place within the convention area such as live onstage Q&As, autograph sessions, and exclusive merchandise sales will require an Anime NYC convention pass.
VIP Tickets priced at $135 will include early entry, a VIP badge, access to an artist goodbye event, and a signed poster. General admission tickets for the standing area are also available for $50, and in the 1st Balcony for $45.
