Injustice 2 Comic Comes To A Conclusion in October


After a year and a half since its debut, the Injustice 2 comic book series has completed tying the events of 2013’s Injustice: Gods Among Us to its 2017 sequel.

The final issue of the tie-in comic book series to the popular DC Comics fighting game is scheduled to ship this October. The series finale by  directly sets up the events of last year’s Injustice 2 as Gorilla Grodd and Brainiac put their plan for world domination into motion.

Based off the fighting game of the same name, Injustice follows an alternate world where Superman sets up a totalitarian regime to better control the world after the destruction of Metropolis and death of Lois Lane. The tie-in comic series, taking place in between both games, was launched in April 2017 by writer Tom Taylor, penciler Bruno Redondo, inker Juan Albarran, and colorist Rex Lokus. The original creative team close out the series joined by artist Daniel Sampere.

Injustice 2 #36 is written by Tom Taylor and illustrated by Bruno Redondo, Daniel Sampere, and Juan Albarran with colors by Rex Lokus. It is scheduled to be released in print on October 17 by DC Comics.
