Two new names have entered the mix for next year’s sequel to the runaway hit Frozen.
Evan Rachel Wood and Sterling K. Brown are both in talks to appear as brand new characters for Disney’s Frozen 2. The two actors would be joining returning cast members Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, and Josh Gad for the eagerly anticipated sequel.

Wood and Brown were both nominated for Emmy Awards this week; Wood for her work on HBO’s Westworld and Brown for his work NBC’s This Is Us as well as for a guest starring appearance on Fox’s Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Details on what characters the two actors are in talks for are still being kept under wraps.
A sequel to Frozen was greenlit by Disney in March 2015 after the original 2013 film went on to earn over $1.27 billion at the worldwide box office and become a bonafide global phenomena. Since then, the animated film was adapted as a Broadway musical and went on to earn three Tony Award nominations this year.

Helmed by returning director Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, Frozen 2 stars Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, and Josh Gad. The film is scheduled for release on November 27, 2019.
