Infinity Countdown: Darkhawk (by Chris Sims, Chad Bowers and Gang Hyuk Lim) has seen Chris Powell step up his superhero game, what with facing down the combined might of the Raptors, including Razor, the very one who gifted Chris the use of his cybernetic body in the first place.
While Darkhawk’s adventure has been part of Marvel’s grander Infinity Countdown storyline, setting the stage for the imminent Infinity Wars saga, his four-issue miniseries has introduced a lot of new aspects to the character’s mythos. Not only has Rich Rider/Nova’s brother Robbie become the Dark Starhawk, which has made Chris’ life infinitely more complicated, Chris has had a hole blown in his chest, forcing him to bond with Razor. This is no minor task, and has resulted in the revelation of a new, more mecha-based incarnation of Darkhawk… which is where the preview below picks up.
