The actor who plays Billy Batson in the live-action Shazam! film has already finished filming. Asher Angel, who portrays Shazam’s young alter-ego, shared a photo on his personal Instagram account showing him with his co-star Zachary Levi. The two were celebrating Angel’s last day on set.
Angel’s Billy Batson uses a magic word to transform himself into a superpowered adult played by Levi. Production on the movie began in late January before filming started in February. Given the duality of the title character, it’s likely that filming will continue with Levi through the month before moving to post-production for a 2019 release.
