Slade is voiced by Will Arnett, who has voiced Batman in the LEGO cinematic universe since 2014’s The LEGO Movie. Kimmel took the trailer’s release as an opportunity to point out that Arnett isn’t the Caped Crusader in the animated film — that there is a new Batman in town.
