Dwayne Johnson’s Rampage was the number one movie at the box office two weeks in a row, but the actor knows that streak is about to come to an end after the release of Avengers: Infinity War.
Gracias even in defeat, Johnson praised the Marvel Studios film in a new video shared to his Instagram account. Along with congratulating the cast and crew, Johnson singled out Chris Pratt, who plays the Guardians of the Galaxy’s leader, Star-Lord. Johnson is a man of the people, and after fans began to ask for Johnson and Pratt to work together, the former WWE superstar wrote “Rock & Pratt” on his vision board, before ending the video with, “I have an idea.”

Johnson and Pratt in a movie together would certainly garner a lot of interest, as each actor is capable of headlining a feature film on their own. Of course, some fans will immediately assume from the video and project tease that Johnson will join Pratt in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, Johnson is already slated to star as Black Adam in Warner Bros.’ DC Extended Universe, so the chances of that happening seem pretty low. The same can be said for Pratt appearing in the DCEU as well.

The more likely scenario is Johnson and Pratt working together on an entirely new film. With Johnson launching his own production company (Seven Bucks Productions) with his ex-wife Dany Garcia, there could be a number of projects for the two actors to collaborate on. Who knows, Pratt could be featured as the villain in Johnson and Jason Statham’s Fast & Furious spinoff, Hobbs and Shaw.
Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Infinity War stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Anthony Mackie, Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chadwick Boseman, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Tom Hiddleston, and Josh Brolin. The film is currently out in theaters everywhere.
