HISHE’s Villain Pub Predicts Who Dies in Infinity War

The characters of How It Should Have Ended’s Villain Pub think they know who’s going to bite it in Avengers: Infinity War. In HISHE’s latest short, evil-doers like Emperor Palpatine, Voldemort, the Joker and Apocalypse place their bets on who will die at Thanos’ hand.

Following an opening credits sequence that apes Cheers, Palpatine announces that it’s finally time for Thanos to go out “and make a name for himself.” As the other characters bid him goodbye, the Emperor announces a dead pool — or, in another words, a betting pool for which character will die when Thanos arrives.

The video pokes fun at the fact that Marvel Studios hasn’t killed off any major characters besides Avengers: Age of Ultron‘s Quicksilver and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2‘s Yondu. While many of the villains disagree over their compatriots’ choices, they can all agree on one thing: “Hawkeye’s definitely gonna die.”

At the end, Palpatine places his own bet: all of them except Ant-Man. This leads the Star Wars baddie to propose an intriguing theory where Ant-Man enters the Quantum Realm, thus stepping outside of time and space, only to meet up with Captain Marvel in the past and team up with her to beat Thanos.

Of course, no dead pool is complete without an appearance from the man himself. Deadpool, Marvel’s own Merc With a Mouth, puts in a cameo as well, only to get shooed away by Palpatine.

In theaters April 27, Avengers: Infinity War is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo and stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Paul Bettany, Anthony Mackie, Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chadwick Boseman, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Tom Hiddleston and Josh Brolin, among others.
