Writer Dan slott’s time on Amazing Spider-Man may be coming to an end, but he — and the titular web-slinger — will “Go Down Swinging” for their final arc together.
Slott remains on the series until Issue #801 arrives in June, but his final major storyline culminates the month prior. Illustrated by Humberto Ramos, Giuseppe Camuncoli and Jim Cheung, the 80-page issue also features a cover by Alex Ross, and it looks like the Red Goblin has it in not only for Spidey, but potentially for his friends and family as well.

Calling the issue “biggest single-issue story I’ve ever worked on,” editor Nick Lowe added in a statement, “Dan and Stuart are being joined by some very important past AMAZING SPIDER-MAN artists to bring it to you in the coolest way possible! Everything you’ve loved about Dan Slott’s run on this book is on full display in this monumental issue that will have you shivering, crying, cheering, laughing and wishing it would never end!”
