In advance of the release of Dark Horse Comics’ full May 2018 solicitations later this week, CBR has an advance look at covers and solicitation text for two of the publisher’s Black Hammer titles: Black Hammer: Age of Doom #2 and Doctor Star &The Kingdom of Lost Tomorrows: From the World of Black Hammer #3.
Black Hammer was named one of CBR’s best comics of 2017, with Staff Writer Jeffrey Renaud writing, “[Lemire] is a creator in the truest sense of the word. And he couldn’t deliver the superhero story that he was meant to write until he was doing it with his own characters. And if you have read even a page (or panel) of his Dark Horse comic, you know Black Hammer is pure Lemire.”
