The Walking Dead‘s Morgan Jones has made his way over to Fear the Walking Dead. New photos from the spinoff series find Morgan besieged by walkers and trying to survive the apocalypse on his own, with his fighting stick and a massive backpack in tow.
“As Morgan Jones steps into the world of Fear the Walking Dead, he’ll be continuing the journey he began on The Walking Dead way back in the pilot,” showrunner Andrew Chambliss explained. “Ian [Goldberg] and I were huge fans of the character when Lennie James first brought him to life back then, again when he returned in Season 3, and finally when he became a series regular in Season 6.”

As Chambliss mentioned, Morgan has been a part of The Walking Dead‘s world since Season 1. He was introduced in the series premiere, where he explained what the world had become to Rick Grimes after the former sheriff awakened from his coma. He returned for a few episodes in Season 3 and Season 5, before becoming a series regular in Season 6.
