Star Wars: The Last Jedi has achieved yet another box office milestone. After just three weeks in theaters, the film is officially set to top $1 billion at the global box office.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, in its third weekend, Star Wars: The Last Jedi amassed another $19.1 million on Friday from 4,232 theaters, bringing its domestic haul to an impressive $483.8 million and $974 million at the worldwide box office. That number is set to rise, however, as the film is estimated to rake in $72 million over the course of the four-day weekend, which should up its domestic total to $537 million through Monday. That would bring the film’s box office haul to just over $1 billion before international numbers are updated, pushing the film past the lifetime gross of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which finished with $1.06 billion, but still well below Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ $2 billion gross.
Surprisingly, Sony’s Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle has proven to have legs at the box office, just narrowly being beaten out by Star Wars: The Force Awakens. In its second weekend, the Jumanji reboot managed to take in another $17.8 million on Friday from 3,765 locations. It’s estimated to finish the weekend with $66 million-plus, bringing its domestic total around $187 million.
