Detective Conan Reveals Title of 22nd Movie!

Due for release in April 2018, Zero no Shikkounin (Zero’s Executioner) has just been confirmed as the title of the 22nd Detective Conan.

Zero no Shikkounin is the latest in the long running series following Detective Conan: Crimson Love Letter which was released earlier this year and proved a big box office hit becoming the fifth successive Detective Conan movie to set box office records.

Yuzuru Tachikawa ( Death Parade , Mob Psycho 100), will direct the new movie in his first involvement with the series.

The story follows “Amuro Toru”, the undercover identity of National Police Agency Officer Rei Furuya who is also operating under the name “Bourbon” as a member of the Black Organization.

Conan is currently investigating a big bombing case in which Kogoro Mouri (also known as Richard Moore) has become a major suspect but comes to doubt Amuro’s true intentions as a result of his findings.

The movie’s key visual features a brand new illustration designed by original author Aoyama Gosho, which features Amuro with an inscrutable expression alongside Mouri and Conan.

Detective Conan: Zero no Shikkounin premieres in cinemas across Japan on April 13, 2018.
