SPOILER WARNING: This article contains major spoilers for “Crisis on Earth-X, Part 2,” the second episode of this year’s Arrowverse crossover.
On Earth-X, Oliver Queen and Kara Zor-El have a drastically different relationship. “Crisis on Earth-X,” this year’s Arrowverse crossover, revealed that the two characters are married on their Earth. Though the episode showed the romantic side of their relationship in an earlier scene, it saved the reveal about their marriage for the big confrontation between them and their doppelgangers.
“I’m sorry about Merlyn,” Overgirl said in the wake of Prometheus’ death.
“He should have died in the church before he allowed himself to be captured,” Dark Archer retorted. “Kara, we need that prism. We are running out of time.”

“You have to trust in the plan, Oliver,” she said, reaching up to touch his face. “You should. It’s yours.”
“And do you trust me?” he asked, to which she responded, “Yes. With all of my heart.” With that, he kissed her.
Later, when Green Arrow, Supergirl and The Flash stood in their way, Dark Archer pledged his allegiance to Overgirl. “I don’t answer to the likes of you. My allegiance is to the Fatherland, and to my wife,” Dark Archer announced, nodding to Overgirl.
“His wife? Gross!” Supergirl responded, only to glance over at Oliver and say, “No offense.”

In another scene, Dark Flash revealed his doubts about Dark Archer’s commitment to Earth-X, as he believed Dark Archer may choose Overgirl over his homeland. “Your husband has a choice to make,” Dark Flash growled.
“Me, or the Reich,” Overgirl affirmed.
“That’s right. Because we have two goals, and my worry is if we can’t accomplish them both, he’s going to choose you over a second Earth flying under our banner,” Thawne explained.
“Oliver will not abandon our mission,” she answered flatly.

“I’ve seen this before. In 1945, Hitler and his men were equally shortsighted,” Dark Flash retorted.
“Hitler was driven by passion and childish need. Oliver is ten times the man Hitler ever was,” Overgirl said.
“Not when he’s blinded by his love for you,” Dark Flash spat back.

“If it comes to Oliver choosing between me and the Reich, I’ll make sure he chooses the Fatherland,” she said coldly. “If it comes to it, by taking the choice out of his hands.”
Towards the end of the episode, Dark Archer again professed his love for Overgirl when she showed signs of her illness. “I love you. Now very soon, this nightmare will be over and I’ll take you home,” he told her, talking her through her pain.
This year’s four-part crossover “Crisis on Earth-X” will air across two nights, beginning Monday, Nov. 27 with Supergirl and Arrow (on a special night for one week only) and concluding Tuesday, Nov. 28 with The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow.
