Many comics fans got their first taste of DC Comics’ pantheon of heroes back in the ‘90s and early ‘00s with Warner Bros.’ various comic book-inspired animated series. Batman: The Animated Series kicked off what would now be known as a cinematic universe back in 1992, with Superman: The Animated Series not far behind. Justice League, and later Justice League Unlimited, was the show that brought together the Caped Crusader and the Man of Steel, along with Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern, The Flash and Hawkgirl.

Now, the show’s voice cast has come together to see if Justice League fans want a reunion. If they do, they’re going to have to work for it.
I have spoken with @susaneisenberg1 and She told me, if we want a Justice League animated movie with the original cast, we need to let WB know. Tweet @WBHomeEnt with the hashtag #JLReunion
Also, Andrea Romano will even come out of retirement to direct it!#JLReunion pic.twitter.com/Uq5cQFcPS8— #JLReunion (@AnimatedJL) November 21, 2017
The Twitter account @AnimatedJL was the first to broach the subject, with the operator of the account claiming to have spoken to Susan Eisenberg, who voiced Wonder Woman in the series. According to the tweet, Eisenberg pointed fans to the official Warner Bros. Home Entertainment account as the best place to let their voices be heard about a potential revival. By tweeting the account with the hashtag #JLReunion, the company might just pick up on how many people want a Justice League reunion.

That might have been the end of the story, but the tweet was subsequently retweeted by Kevin Conroy, the series’ Batman, and Eisenberg herself. There’s no telling how many tweets Warner Bros. might need to convince the company an animated Justice League film would be profitable, especially considering the recent live-action Justice League’s box office failings, but that’s not stopping fans who want to hear the voices they know attached to the characters they love one more time.
