Cyberpunk anime Psycho-Pass is getting a new film titled Psycho-Pass: Providence!
The film is being made as part of the anime’s 10th anniversary celebrations, which will officially kick off in October 2022.
Psycho-Pass will be directed by Naoyoshi Shiotani, who directed the original anime and films, and it will be produced by Production I.G. Info on the premiere date and cast are yet to be revealed.
Originally a TV anime that aired from October 2012, Psycho-Pass is set in a dystopic near future where the minds of people are constantly being assessed for their potential to commit crimes.
In addition to second and third seasons, it has received several anime films, with the most recent one being Psycho-Pass 3: First Inspector in 2020.
