A recent cosplay brought Red Dead Redemption 2’s extremely violent fan-favorite outlaw Sadie Adler to life with impressive attention to detail.

Sadie Adler, Red Dead Redemption 2‘s incredibly violent and charming lady outlaw, has been a fan-favorite since the game’s release in 2019, and one cosplayer has brought her to life with impressive detail.
Cosplayer Frau Adler (@MissSkunk) posted a picture of her Sadie Adler cosplay to Twitter on June 27, highlighting her strikingly accurate recreation of one of Sadie’s most iconic outfits, down to the trademark striped suspenders.
A few days later, Frau Adler uploaded a second photo of her Sadie cosplay, this time showing off a full-body shot of the outfit along with a better look at her firearm. While Sadie cycles through a handful of different guns over the course of Red Dead Redemption 2, it seems fitting that this cosplay should give the exceedingly violent woman a characteristically large gun — all the better for blowing away O’Driscolls and lawmen.
Sadie is one of many beloved characters from Red Dead Redemption 2, alongside favorites like Arthur Morgan and John Marston. Unlike Arthur and John, though, it’s not exactly clear where Sadie’s story is headed after the events of RDR2 — she survives the events of the prequel, but is totally absent from the original game — which has made her a popular choice among fans for Red Dead Redemption 3‘s protagonist.
Sadie Adler may yet make an appearance in a future Red Dead game, but that game is unlikely to be Red Dead Online. RDR2‘s multiplayer spinoff will not see any major content updates in the future, as developer Rockstar Games has been slowly moving development resources towards Grand Theft Auto VI, due to what it calls “the need to exceed players’ expectations and for this next entry to be the best it can possibly be.”
Even if Sadie never shows her face in another Red Dead Redemption title, her story can always be experienced in Red Dead Redemption 2, which is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows and Google Stadia. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S owners can play the game via backwards compatibility, but an upgraded version of Red Dead Redemption 2 shouldn’t be expected any time soon.
