Elden Ring Sends Epic Gift to ‘Let Me Solo Her’ For Reaching Major Milestone


Elden Ring publisher Bandai Namco commemorates beloved boss slayer Let Me Solo Her for their 1000th victory against Malenia, Blade of Miquella.

Elden Ring publishers Bandai Namco Entertainment rewarded acclaimed boss killer Let Me Solo Her for dealing Malenia, Blade of Miquella her 1000th defeat.

Let Me Solo Her — known as Klein Tsuboi on Twitter and YouTube — posted pictures of the celebratory package, which came in a sleek black box stamped with the game’s title. It included a wax-sealed letter from Bandai Namco. “Congratulations on your great accomplishment!” the publisher wrote, alongside a sketch of Let Me Solo Her’s in-game character. The box also contained a map of the in-game world of The Lands Between and a wood carving painting of Malenia. The legendary player was additionally gifted a full-sized European longsword and a dark green cloak modeled after Elden Ring‘s NPC guide Melina.

In response, Let Me Solo Her shared a personal message for Bandai Namco and Elden Ring, thanking the game and the people who took part in its creation. “I can still remember my first experience with the Soulsborne series and almost quitting because of Iudex Gundyr in Dark Souls 3,” the player recalled. “I’m glad I persisted and went on to enjoy the game, because this community is one of the most passionate and dedicated people I’ve ever seen in a game, and I’m proud to be a part of it.” Let Me Solo Her went on to share their appreciation for other Dark Souls influencers and thanked the game’s community of content creators for inspiring them.

Let Me Solo Her is a player character revered for helping other Elden Ring players defeat the swordswoman Malenia, who is regarded as one of the most difficult bosses of FromSoftware’s Soulsborne titles. Known for using nothing apart from a characteristic jar helm and dual katanas, Let Me Solo Her’s unusual outfit and tremendous skill steadily won the hearts of other players, which eventually elevated them to their current status as an icon of the Elden Ring community.

Let Me Solo Her might also have more bosses to slay, as Elden Ring‘s creator Hidetaka Miyazaki revealed the game will continue to receive support in the future. When asked if he was planning any projects, the legendary game developer claimed FromSoftware is currently busy handling the final stages of development for an unannounced game. While it might not come anytime soon, Miyazaki further assured fans that Elden Ring will receive additional content, though he didn’t specify if the updates would be packaged as DLC or periodic content patches.

Elden Ring is available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
