Prizewinning historical manga Chi: Chikyu no Undo ni Tsuite will be adapted into an anime by Madhouse, the studio behind hits like The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and Overlord!
Created by Uoto, the manga is set in 15th century Poland, a society in which those who challenge the teachings of the Catholic Church are burned at the stake as heretics. The story follows researchers who risk their lives to pursue the forbidden theory of the Earth revolving around the Sun.

The original manga was serialized in Weekly Big Comic Spirits from September 2020 to April 2022. It went on to win the Grand Prize for the 26th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize, making Uoto the youngest winner at the age of 24.
