The plot synopsis for Deathstroke Inc. #11 reads, “‘Deathstroke: Year One’ continues! To escape the banality of family life, Slade Wilson, the failed soldier and test subject, undertakes his first assassination mission. His target is the last surviving doctor from the experiment that gave him his powers! Slade doesn’t need his heightened senses to tell him something is wrong with all of this…but will his intuition stay his hand when the time comes for the final death stroke?”

The “Deathstroke: Year One” storyline begins in June’s Deathstroke Inc. #10 and will run for six issues. The arc promises to dig into Deathstroke’s past and is the first with the new creative team mentioned above. The solicitation information for the series makes clear Deathstroke will be looking into the organization that gave him his powers. However, along the way, he’ll learn all is not what it seems.
