Hit fantasy anime Jujutsu Kaisen is getting a second season this winter!
Original author Gege Akutami has released a visual celebrating the news, as well as anime film Jujutsu Kaisen 0’s hit status.
The big announcement was made at a talk event on February 12. Held after a Jujutsu Kaisen 0 screening in Tokyo, the event featured main cast members Megumi Ogata (Yuta Okkotsu), Kana Hanazawa (Rika Orimoto), Yuichi Nakamura (Satoru Gojo), and Takahiro Sakurai (Suguru Geto).
Inspired by Gege Akutami’s dark fantasy manga Jujutsu Kaisen, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 adapts prequel manga Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School, also published as Volume 0. The story follows Yuta, a boy haunted by his childhood sweetheart ever since he saw her die in a car accident.
