Currently airing anime Lupin the Third Part 6 will head straight into its second cour from January 8!
The new trailer showcases a number of female characters for the upcoming women-themed arc, as well as teasing the appearance of Lupin’s mother.
The second cour’s ending theme, “Bitter Rain,” is composed by jazz pianist Yuji Ohno, who has a long history with the Lupin franchise, and is performed by singer-songwriter Sakura Fujiwara.
The Lupin the Third franchise began with Monkey Punch’s classic manga about the humorous exploits of gentleman thief Lupin and his various friends and enemies. Part 6 sees Lupin face off against the legendary Sherlock Holmes after he is implicated in the death of Holmes’ longtime associate Dr. Watson.
Lupin the Third Part 6’s second cour begins on January 8, 2022.
