Almost ten years after its first anime adaptation, Black Rock Shooter has a new anime project in the works!
Titled Black Rock Shooter: Dawn Fall, the anime currently has an official Twitter and Facebook page, in addition to a website. Further details will be revealed at a later date.
Spanning movies, manga, merchandise and figures, the franchise originated with a series of illustrations by Ryohei Fuke (also known as huke), which inspired a hit song composed by Ryo of J-pop band supercell.
While each iteration takes place in a different universe, they all revolve around the titular Black Rock Shooter, a young woman with dark hair and a flaming blue eye who carries a rapid-fire, high speed cannon.
