Amazon Prime Video and comic book shops are teaming up for a special fan experience to celebrate the launch of the Invincible animated series.
To celebrate the release of the Invincible animated series on March 26, Amazon Prime Video is connecting with comic book stores for special giveaways and sweepstakes.
Invincible superfans will get the opportunity to pick up a limited-edition re-cover of Invincible Volume 1, with updated series-inspired artwork by Ryan Ottley. There will also be exclusive Invincible giveaway items, including collectible pin sets, tote bags, portable power banks, posters and more, all while supplies last.
Comic shops will also have an Invincible sewing kit, courtesy of in-show tailor Art Rosenbaum. Fans who call the phone number on the sewing kits will have the opportunity to enter a sweepstake to win a collection of comics signed by Invincible creator Robert Kirkman.
From The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman, and based on the Skybound/Image comic of the same name by Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley, Invincible is an adult animated superhero show that revolves around seventeen-year-old Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun), who’s just like every other guy his age — except that his father is the most powerful superhero on the planet, Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons). But as Mark develops powers of his own, he discovers that his father’s legacy may not be as heroic as it seems.
Invincible stars Steven Yeun, J.K. Simmons, Sandra Oh, Seth Rogen, Gillian Jacobs, Andrew Rannells, Zazie Beetz, Mark Hamill, Walton Goggins, Jason Mantzoukas, Mae Whitman, Chris Diamantopoulos, Melise, Kevin Michael Richardson, Grey Griffin and Max Burkholder. The series is produced by Skybound, and executive produced by Robert Kirkman, Simon Racioppa, David Alpert and Catherine Winder. The series arrives on Amazon Prime Video Friday, March 26.
