As Halloween approaches, Dark Horse has announced that it will release several first issue comic books for free to celebrate.
Halloween is fast approaching yet again. To celebrate, Dark Horse Comics has announced a special horror-themed offer for comic book readers.
For the remainder of October, Dark Horse is offering anyone who signs up for a free account on the Dark Horse website a chance to read the digital first issue of a number of horror-themed titles, including Harrow County (created by Cullen Bunn and Tyler Crook), Count Crowley: Reluctant Midnight Monster Hunter (created by David Dastmalchian and Lukas Ketner), Hellboy (created by Mike Mignola), She Could Fly (created by Christopher Cantwell and Martin Morazzo) and other critically-acclaimed comics.
In addition to these free comics, Dark Horse also announced that it will be selling all digitally available horror-themed graphic novels and comics at 50 percent off.
Dark Horse Comics was founded in 1986 and is known for iconic comic books titles such as Sin City, 300 and Hellboy, many of which have been adapted into major feature films. Additionally, Dark Horse has published numerous graphic novels relating to properties such as Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Avatar: The Last Airbender and more.
