Joe Kelly and Chris Bachalo’s Non-Stop Spider-Man has been rescheduled for January, with Bachalo providing a variant cover for the first issue.
Marvel Comics has pushed Non-Stop Spider-Man‘s release date back to next year, but its creative team has teased a new cover as well as the action held within the pages.
Series artist Chris Bachalo will provide a die-cut variant for the first issue. The first look at the variant shows Spidey in a swinging pose. The full cover will be revealed at a future date, with artist David Finch providing the cover art for the first issue.
“Non-Stop Spider-Man is, for me, the best of what Marvel comics can be: relentless action, epic storytelling, mind-melting art, and relevant themes, all grounded by the heart and soul of one of my all-time favorite characters, Spider-Man,” Kelly said while describing the series. Bachalo added that Kelly was one of his favorite writers to work with and Spider-Man was one of his favorite heroes to draw and that the book provided him a chance to draw intense action sequences.
Non-Stop Spider-Man features the web-slinger going up against several of his enemies, with the creators promising breakneck action in each issue. The series was originally set to debut this June, but the COVID-19 pandemic temporarily halted the shipping of comics.
Non-Stop Spider-Man will go on sale in January 2021 from Marvel Comics.
