The second issue of Warhammer 40,000: Marneus Calgar — Marvel Comics’ five-part limited series based on the popular Warhammer 40,000 tabletop game — teases a “shocking revelation” that will that will “forever change what you thought you knew” about the eponymous legendary Ultramarine.
Marvel has revealed the synopsis and cover art for Warhammer 40,000: Marneus Calgar #2 as part of its November 2020 solicits. Following October’s debut issue, November’s issue #2 continues the untold origin of Marneus Calgar as a “startling discovery” is made on the moon of Nova Thulium. Marvel poses the question, “But will the young Marneus face his first triumph… or a soul-shattering loss?”
