LOOK: Previews for Every DC Comic Arriving Tuesday, Aug. 4


Before New Comics Day arrives, check out previews for Batman, DCeased: Dead Planet, Far Sector, Justice League, Strange Adventures and Young Justice.

I can’t sleep… ’cause what if I dream?

DC Comics is slated to put out no fewer than nine new issues this Tuesday, Aug. 4. The DC Black Label in particular has an interesting week ahead of it, with a new era for the Sandman Universe’s The Dreaming set to kick off with The Dreaming: Waking Hours #1.

Speaking of the Black Label, the 12-part Strange Adventures series finishes the first third of its run this week with the release of issue #4. Switching gears to DC’s Young Animal, fellow 12-parter Far Sector begins its second half on Tuesday with issue #7. And while we’re on the subject of imprints, Wonder Comics’ flagship title has a new issue on the way in the form of Young Justice #17.

As far as DC’s main banner is concerned, the “Joker War” event continues this week in Batman #96. Meanwhile, Justice League puts out its special 50th issue on Tuesday, while The Terrifics draws to a close with the penultimate issue #29. Finally, DCeased: Dead Planet continues its six-part run with issue #2 and the ongoing Dark Nights: Death Metal event series gets some bonus tracks in Dark Nights: Death Metal Legends of the Dark Knights #1.
