Science fiction anime World Trigger will be back for a new season!
Inspired by Ashihara Daisuke’s manga, World Trigger is set in a world where humanity battles otherworldly invaders knowns as “Neighbours”. Four years after mysterious agency Border helps Mikado’s people to defend themselves against the threat, daily life is largely back to normal. Then, a Neighbour named Kuga Yuma meets Border agent Mikumo Osamu.
The new season will follow the Mikumo Unit as they try to battle their way through to rank A – but meanwhile, Galopoula, a vassal country of the Neighbourhood’s largest military state, raises chaos with a sudden attack.
