The live action TV drama adaptation of Afro’s slice-of-life manga Laid-Back Camp has released a series of new publicity shots featuring the main characters.
Previously adapted as an TV anime, the series follows a group of high school girls in Yamanashi who enjoy going camping. The story begins when “solo camper” Rin runs into Nadeshiko after getting lost looking for Mt. Fuji on her bicycle. The girls bond over a campfire sharing tasty cup ramen and go on to become fast friends.
Cast members playing the main characters are Fukuhara Haruka as Shima Rin, Ohara Yuno as Kagamihara Nadeshiko, Tanabe Momoko as Ogaki Chiaki, Yanai Yumena as Inuyama Aoi, and Shida Sara as Saitou Ena.
It was also announced that punk trio LONGMAN will perform theme song “Replay”.
Laid-Back Camp’s TV drama adaptation airs from Jan. 9.
