A new poster visual for the upcoming live action film Sonic the Hedgehog is striking curiosity and apprehension in fans around the world! For now, it looks like the appearance of Sonic is being kept under wraps, as the poster visual only shows off his shadowy silhouette.
While details for the film are scarce, it has already been confirmed that prominent actor James Marsden ( X-Men, Superman Returns, Westworld ) will play police officer Tom Wachowski, while the iconic comedian Jim Carrey ( The Truman Show, How the Grinch Stole Christmas ) will play Dr. Eggman himself.
Producers include Neal H. Moritz ( Fast and Furious ) and Tim Miller ( Deadpool ). Meanwhile, Academy Award nominee Jeff Fowler ( Gopher Broke ) will be directing the film.
The live action adaptation of Sonic the Hedgehog is slated to premiere in Nov. 2019.
