The sad but inevitable news was announced during a special event on Dec. 1 titled “The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. TV Anime Season 2 Special Event~ Kaisai! Hitoashi Hayai Christmas Party~”. It was also confirmed that Dempagumi.inc idol Aizawa Risa will return in the anime original role of Mikami Aiko.
A gag series created by mangaka Asou Shuichi, The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. follows the unusual life of high school student Kusuo Saiki, who is gifted with various psychic abilities. Despite this, he’s determined to live as normal a life as he can, keeping his abilities secret from his classmates. More often than not, though, mysterious bouts of disaster seems to befall all of them.
