The Promised Neverland TV Reveals Release Date and Visual!



The anime adaptation of the futuristic thriller series The Promised Neverland has announced its premiere dates along with a key visual!

The official premiere is set for Jan. 11, 2019 on TV stations throughout Japan but those with Amazon Prime Video will be able to view the first episode ahead of everyone else on Jan. 10, 2019.

The Promised Neverland is a manga written by Shirai Kaiu and illustrated by Demizu Posuka. Serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since Aug. 2016, over 8.7 million copies have been printed worldwide.

The series is set in an orphanage named Grace Field House in 2045. Life is carefree for the thirty-eight orphans living there – after all, with the love of each other and their motherly guardian, they’ve formed bonds that money can’t possibly buy. However, any illusions of happiness and belonging are shattered when three orphans discover that their recently adopted friend was killed and that they are all being kept to face a horrible fate.

The anime adaptation of The Promised Neverland is slated to premiere on Jan. 10 on Amazon Prime Video and Jan. 11 on TV stations throughout Japan.
