Aquaman director James Wan has shared two new photos from the upcoming film that show Vulko (Willem Dafoe) and King Orm (Patrick Wilson) riding a pair of sea beasts.
The first picture, which Wan posted on Twitter, features Vulko riding an armored hammerhead shark, while the other image shows King Orm on an armored tylosaur. “Vulko and King Orm on their steeds,” Wan captioned the images.

Dafoe’s Vulko was supposed to appear in Justice League. However, the character was cut from the film as a result of a Warner Bros. mandate that the movie have a 2-hour runtime. In July, a set of Mattel action figures teased Vulko having a hammerhead shark companion
Early reaction to Aquaman have been positive. Jason Momoa, who plays the film’s titular character, has already talked with executives about a potential sequel, though one has not yet been confirmed.
From Warner Bros. Pictures and director James Wan comes an action-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, Aquaman, starring Jason Momoa in the title role. The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime—one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be…a king.
